Keeping You & Your Accounts Safe
LOC takes proactive steps to protect your accounts and personal information. This includes monitoring debit and credit card activity for unusual behavior, and security protocols for online and mobile banking access.
Recently we’ve been working to add default security alerts for online banking users. These default security alerts will include sending confirmation to the email address we have on file for you when you change your address, phone and/or email in online banking. We’ve are also working to implement the same notification when you change your password or are locked-out of your online account. These alerts are standard and cannot be deleted. If you previously established these alerts, you will continue to receive them at the contact detail provided.
As a reminder, if you receive a suspicious email that says it's from LOC Federal Credit Union, do not respond, open any attachments or click on any links. This is more likely than not an unauthorized attempt to gain access to your personal information for purposes of fraud or infect your computer with a virus or malware.
While we work hard to protect your accounts and personal information, below are some steps you can take on your end to prevent fraud and identity theft.
