Annual Meeting Scheduled March 26, 2012
Mark your calendar to attend the Annual Meeting to be held on Monday, March 26, 2012, 5:30 p.m. at LOC’s Farmington office. All members are welcome to attend. Nominations for open positions on the Board of Directors must be received in writing by January 21, 2012.

Savings Bonds Counter Sales Ended December 31, 2011
The Treasury Department ended over-the-counter sales of Savings Bonds on December 31, 2011. Purchases are still available electronically at www.treasurydirect.gov.

Social Security Direct Deposit Deadline: March 2013
All NEW recipients of Social Security will be required to have their money directly deposited to an account at a financial institution, and those currently receiving Social Security benefits will have to have direct deposit by March 2013. Why wait? Make LOC your choice for the deposit of your Social Security benefits. Call or stop by your LOC office and we’ll provide you with the information you need. Even if you already have your Social Security direct deposited to another financial institution, we can help you switch to LOC.

GREAT NEWS – FEES NOW WAIVED!
The ATM/VISA Check Card $10.00 annual fee and all transaction fees are now WAIVED for all Teen Club members (age 13-17)*; and the $10.00 annual fee is WAIVED for members age 18-25 who are attending an accredited school (over the maximum and inquiry transaction fees still apply for ages 18-25).

*Parent or legal guardian must be joint on the account.

**Fees apply for services such as NSFs, overdrafts, check printing, etc. Ask for details. There is a $10.00 annual fee for an ATM/VISA Check Card. This includes four free withdrawals per month and unlimited deposits. Each additional withdrawal over four is subject to a $1.50 transaction fee (all inquiries are $2.00). There is no charge to use ATMs at LOC offices. These annual/withdrawal/inquiry fees are waived for Teen Club members (ages 13-17), and the annual fee is waived for members ages 18-25 who attend an accredited school (proof of enrollment required).
